After-School Programs for Dalit Children
We support two programs for Dalit children in Tamil Nadu - one in an urban ghetto and the other in an outcaste rural colony - by offering after-school instruction (5:30-7:30) in Math, Science, English, and Tamil, plus there’s a focus on visual and performing arts, oratory, and nurturing scientific curiosity. Additionally, we provide a sports-and-exercise class from 6:00-7:00 in the morning.
